Yaotian advises clients in technology, pharmaceutical, medical device, bank, fashion and customer products industries on intellectual property (trademarks, patents, designs and models, copyright, unfair competition), information technology, commercial contracts and personal data protection issues (GDPR compliance, subcontracting, data transfer outside of the EU). She advises regularly international companies in their commercial activities in France and in Europe. Yaotian is admitted to the Paris Bar and has passed the National Bar Examination in the P.R.C.. She has worked many years in leading international law firms in France and Germany. She holds a master degree in IP law from Renmin University of China, a master degree in European commercial law from University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Munich (LMU Munich). Yaotian is Partner of Aurilex Law Firm. Moreover, she teaches European IP law at the reputed French business school IESEG. Her excellent knowledge and experience in French, German and EU law are an irreplaceable added-value for the clients’ projects. Yaotian regularly publishes articles in legal journals and speaks at international conferences. She has provided many training courses for European IP protection and GDPR compliance to different companies.

Yaotian holds a doctor degree in intellectual property law (University of Munich), a master degree in intellectual property law (Renming University of China) and a master degree in European and international commercial law (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). She has two bachelor degrees in law and in economics (Nankai University, China). She holds a university degree in German law at University of Munich and a university degree in EU personal data protection at University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas. She was also a visiting scholar at Max-Planck-Institute for intellectual property and competition law in Munich, Germany (2018-2020).
